Passport change on Partner Visa

Hello everybody,

I have dual nationality, therefore i have two passports, one from europe and another one from southamerica.

I have applied for a partner visa with my australian wife with my EUROPEAN passport, because of the covid situation i am running out of time to renew it and I only have 3 months left on that passport and doing it being away its not as easy as it seems.

I am considering to change my application to my southamerican passport.

Is it advisable to do that? Is there any cons?

I would really appreciate some suggestions,

Thanks so much

You should nominate the passport that you want associated with a visa grant.
