Tourist and PMV visa

Hi! I went to Australia last March to visit my fiance and upon arriving back to my home country on March 11 just before lockdown, I applied for another tourist visa as I was supposed to go back and visit my fiance again on May. Obviously I did not get it, and towards the end of March, considering that we dont know when this pandemic would end we decided to apply for PMV 300 to get it started with since we know it might take a while. I have 2 visas with status 'RECIEVED' right now, would it be a conflict to my PMV application? Should i withdraw my tourist visa application? Thanks in advance!

I have sometimes advised clients who intended to apply for partner visas to lodge a 600 so they might be able to logde an onshore partner visa application and if refused would have introduced themselves as a couple to immigration.

Another 600 visa refusal will not improve your record. Computers have long memories, but are are quite stupid.

For the most part, the last visa granted replaces any visa held. It is most unlikely that you would have a 300 granted to be superseced by a 600 grant.

From what you have posted, withdrawing the 600 might be your best move. This is not a considered professional opinion and I suggest that you consult one of the registered migration agents who posts on this forum for a full assessment.
