Can someone recommend a good registered migration agent or lawyer in Australia?
I live in the US.

Hi there!

At the top of the topics page, there's a sticky'd thread that contains contact info for several registered migration agents that regularly post here and who have extensive experience and trust. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. If you want a personal recommendation, I've been very happy with Nick at CCMS. With his help, we finally lodged my partner visa application last week (I am also in the US) and he proved to be very organised and on top of things every step of the way. In any case, it never hurts to consult with a few to find one you are comfortable with. Good luck!

So far, it has not, except that it's a bit more difficult to submit evidence of recent social relationships and events when people aren't supposed to gather. In my case it was not really an issue. Now that the application is submitted, I expect due to COVID it may end up taking longer to process, but anything can happen. At some point I will need a medical exam, and it seems eligible places in the US are still doing business so I don't think that'll be a problem either.

It is pretty hard to get on that sticky list - they are all very good.
