Got 820 instead of 801?

I just received the 820 visa instead of the 801 despite meeting all of the criteria to skip the 2 year waiting period.

Is it possible to get the 801 notification later or do I need to contact my visa officer?

What are the criteria to skip the 820 and 2 year waiting period?

I think that if a relationship is "long", i.e. 3 years, then the 801 will possibly be granted at the same time as the 820 or very soon after.

“Should be” not “possibly be”

And the bit most people seem to miss is that it's at time of application not time of grant
