RFI for oversea birth certificate

Hi there,

I am a french citizen born oversea in a foreign country and we have applied for our 309 visa with my partner. I received a RFI to submit a birth certificate from the country I was born. Problem is, I never held this citizen and my parents only registered me at the French consulate. There is no trace of birth certificate on my name in their system (the country I was born) so I cannot request that.

I have already submitted my french birth certificate (the only on I have got) which shows both my parents name, my passport, my ID.
The rfi stupilates that I must obtain one if I don't have one.

It's a document that I cannot have and actually doesn't even exist. We are desperate that we are going to be rejected for something we can't fix

Any advice?

Thank you.

Explain with evidence what you have posted here, possibly hospital rcords. An official confirmation from your birth country would help.
