I have a question about the 47SP:

"Has this sponsor previously sponsored/nominated a spouse, de facto, prospective spouse or interdependent partner?"


For reasons that I won't go into too much detail about now, I am having to lodge an onshore 820 partner visa, having already lodged an offhsore 309 in May 2019. Essentially, it is because we cannot return to China where we previously resident after travelling to Australia earlier this year.

Should I answer yes to the above question and then provide details? Or should I answer no, seeing as my wife is sponsoring the same applicant (me) for both the onshore/offshore visa and neither case has been determined, yet?

Well you technically have, even though it is the same person. It won't affect your new application, so you may as well enter the details.
