Sub Class 309 checklist

Hello Everyone,

I had lodged a Subclass 309/100 Visa application through a MARA agent in Sydney. This is an offshore application from India.

Me and my wife(already an AU PR) had been married for 4 years now, we finally decided to apply for the PR.

Application lodged: 13th Aug 2019

The first request check list request was made on March 2020 (looks like a general request no case officer name or details was found)

The second request check list was made ons56 (request check list ) : 5th Nov 2020. (here the case office details and name was seen).

I had subitted the details well with the time of 28 days as requested.

Anyone with their experience can tell me after how many days usually the immigration would respond after submitting all the documents ? We have been waiting for 17 months now.

Impossible to say ... some applicants hear nothing for months after responding to a s56 request.

Sometimes different delegates handle a file (resignation, extended leave, first up best dressed - they work in teams) and what satisfies one delegate might not satisfy another. I have had repeated s56 requests in such circumstances.

Hi,

The current average processing time for the subclass 309 visa is between 14 and 19 months (based on 75-90% of applications lodged).

Got my SC 100 on jan 15th, they considered both my application since we are married for 4+ years.
