Experience with Medical Exam

Hi everyone:

Was hoping to hear about others' experiences with the medical exam. I have mine scheduled and I'm a bit curious as to how much information others have brought with them. Do we need childhood records onwards or is it something from 18 forward? I'm planning on bringing my vaccine records along with information on recent procedures but do I need to print out reports from every annual physical I've had since? They've all been very normal.

Thank you!

Elizabeth

I just did my medical last Friday (in Texas) and got my results sent to Australian immigration today. I did not bring anything to the appointment except my passport and the letter from the RFI. I got standard questions on my medical history (which is not very exciting) but did not have to provide any documentation - which is a good thing as it is all over the place as a result of many international moves. Basically all the tests were done by the physician, took about 1.5 hours in all (most of that time was spent waiting for the various elements such as X-ray, blood sample, etc).

It may be different if you have a pre-existing condition that needs disclosure though - I had nothing to report.

I just did medical on Tuesday (London) and it was super quick. They just requested urine sample, x-rays and about 10 minutes talk to doctor...check your eyes, ears, blood pressure, blood sample and basically that's it. If you have no concerns or any conditions the doctor just checked me all looked good and results will be within days on Immi.

It may took about 30 minutes with waiting etc...
