Lightbulb Visitor Visa 600 extension COVID

Hi, I am applying for new visitor for my mom, she is currently on visitor 600 (does not have no further stay). I am planning to apply on compensation reason with COVID and also with my mom being my only parent and me being her only child, and staying in different countries with no certainty of when things will get normal would be terrible & stressful. What do you think are odds of getting new visa with atleast 6 month also is there anything else I can do in this situation.

People's mileage varies and it depends on how long she has already been in Australia.
