Subclass 100 to citizenship question

Hi there, I've gotten some confusing advice so I was hoping to get some clarity here.
My partner moved here on the temp partner visa in 2016 and gained his subclass 100 PR early 2019 and thus we applied for citizenship mid-late 2020 when he was eligible.

Since then we've discussed separation/divorce.

I wanted to know if the separation/divorce would negatively affect his citizenship application or even his current PR? On the sc 100 grant it says we need to notify the dept. of any relationship changes such as a breakdown so I was worried this would influence these his citizenship application or PR.

Once the 100 is granted, it is fine.
