Hello everyone, I just stumbled across this forum today and it seems like a fantastic resource. I'm currently on a 600 Tourist visa expiring February 10th of this year only three weeks from now. Very little time to complete my application properly by myself. On the immi website I'm nearly completed Stage 1 - Partner or Prospective Marriage Visa (300,309/100,820/801) and almost ready to submit it. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's my understanding I can't upload evidence until it's paid for and submitted. Does the majority of the evidence need to be submitted before the BVA is granted? Does any of it need to be submitted? I haven't even submitted it to get to the payment form because I want to make sure every detail is perfect. Is it possible to simply do that first step and apply then take my time on the rest of the application once I have a BVA. I know it will be a long time before an officer is even applied to my case. Im just trying to figure out a timeline. I would apply for an extension on the tourist visa but I have been here nearly two years and I'm concerned it wouldn't be granted. Any help is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

Also, if there is a page with additional resources you guys would recommend that would be fantastic. Im not afraid to do some reading and research I just wanted to post this question ASAP as plans have changed and I'm trying to figure out the best plan. Thanks again.

The bridging visa will be granted when you have submitted and paid for the application. You should not delay too long uploading the bulk of your evidence. Remember you are meeting the evidence criteria at the time of application.

You can only upload documents after you pay for your visa application. Make sure the documents/evidence you upload match whatever it is on your application coz once your documents are uploaded there is no option to delete them.
