PMV Subclass 300, NOIM concern

Dear all, i currently have a subclass 300 in the pipeline and the date we chose earlier for the wedding on the NOIM was 12th Feb 2021 which is only a few days away and also very unlikely that the visa would be granted by then, hence what would be the process which regards to rescheduling or we would would have to fill the NOIM once more ?

You can usually change your wedding date by a letter from the celebrant.
Some missions insist on having an updated NOIM.
It is possible that you have a better strategy. May I suggest that you consult one of the registered migration agents who posts on this forum?

We do have an australian registered migration agent working with us but sad to say they are very sloppy and if not that we had already payed the full amount we would have revoked their service.
I just wanted to know if an updated letter letter from our celebrant would do or an updated noim is needed

Have you instructed your RMA to find out?

Have you been advised that the prospects of being able to travel to Australia on a 300 are currently not good?

They take weeks to reply emails. Im kinda aware that the subclass 300 is currently almost not being processed at all. But the NOIM and celebrant letter we added to the application upfront stated our wedding date as 12 Feb 2021 which is just few days away and wont be useful soon so my question was how should we go about rescheduling to a far later date with regards to issuing a new NOIm or just a reschedule letter from our celebrant would suffice.

Im thinking we do both should incase only one is required at least we wont be worried

I am not sure if you are required the actual NOIM, to my memory we only uploaded a celebrant letter, and it’s an easy thing for celebrants to move the dates if necessary (they are aware of visa matters).
I read stories of people whos booked wedding day was expired (they didn’t get their visa by then) and they did nothing about it until got contacted by case officer, when the visa case was opened , to reschedule a new wedding day. So I think it’s fine if you leave it the way it is for now, or you may as well ask your celebrant to move a date from February to another month
