Partner Visa Request for More Info

Hi guys. I'm a bit panicked as I thought this day would never come and I've been minding my business, pretending I'm a permanent resident already. I have applied for my Partner Visa (820) in Feb of 2019.

I have just gotten the email requesting for police checks and the medical exam. They requested the AFP (which i understand fine) and also my police clearances from other countries. I have only lived in one other country and I have already sent this in. Do I need to get a renewed one from my country? I have not been there since coming to Aus.

Bupa bookings are also fully booked. I was told I have 28 days to send them this info, but no bookings are open until late March, which is stressing me out.

One last thing, is this looking good? I have not been asked for more proof/evidence.. I'm hoping that I will be good to go as soon as paperwork is done.

Thanks so much!

Depends when it was issued ... if it has expired they will want a new one. The request should explain this.

Make sure you upload the confirmation of the BUPA booking before the deadline (and a confirmation that you have applied for the overseas police check if that is going to take time to get back)

Cool, I have booked an appointment for late March and attached that. Do I need to formally request for an extension? When I called BUPA they said that I don't have to call them or the government about this as they know that appointments are scarce. I'm just nervous

I have been pretending too because of such a long wait time sometimes I forget Iím still in bridging visa lol

To the OP, I think if you feel anxious about this, just send them an email to ask for extension. Thatís what I did because my overseas police check would surpass the 28 day due date. Sent an email, attached all necessary documents that I have to immi and just hope for the best. Oh and they never replied to my email and I uploaded the rest of the information they asked for 3 days past the due date and still no reply up to this day.
