The person sees WHV as his only option of coming to Australia , which is INCORRECT

I'm so sorry for my language.. I don't use google translate so sometimes I make errors in writing texts.

In reality I have always talked about the Working Holiday Visa because I used to think that is the only option to come and stay in Australia for a while, and maybe make a decision to stay here and get the double citizenship.

Now for the first time ever I'm reading that there is another option beyond doing the WHV... I'm happy for this because it means that I have more options 🤣

I'm Italian and I live in Milano.. It is a really nice city, modern city, here there is a lot of opportunity but I don't know how to explain why I want to come in Australia.. I will try

I love the nature.. I love the freedom.. I love to go off road with my land Rover defender.. I love the camping life.. I love the sun.. The sea... I love Australia because it is still the most free country in the world.. Where the nature is more important than the civilization..

So now I ask to all of you.. I have another option beyond the WHV??? 🤭 thanks so much for the answers and sorry for my English.. I'm still studying

Yeah, I could see you don’t quite understand the topic 🙂 (which is fine, nobody knows everything)

Like its already written above, for tourism and business purposes Italian citizens are not required a visa to Australia, instead you will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation, which can be obtained online. (You can google “Australian eVisitor requirements for Italian citizens” and learn more). But as you can imagine due to coronavirus there’s no travel at the moment, have to wait until the travel restrictions are lifted.

Regarding a potential of getting an Australian citizenship. I don’t know, what your understanding is, but it’s not a simple matter of coming to Australia, staying here and then getting a citizenship 🙂 it’s possible of course, but each person’s case is individual and every step of the way must be very well planned in advance.
There are lots of ways how it can be done, the whole australiaforum is about it. It’s very difficult to advice you anything specific simply because nobody knows the details of your situation.

To understand what’s your options are regarding migration, it’s best to investigate the Australian homeaffairs website https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/. Or, as an alternative, you could consult with an Australian Registered Migration Agents.

No. The ETA Subclass 601 visa does not permit work.

And you can only stay for 3 months at a time.

The WHV Subclass 417 visa would normally be the best option, unless you qualify for a skilled visa.

Maybe you should look at skilled visas requirements (I don’t know much about it);

If you ever have a relationship with an Australian citizen or a permanent resident, you would be eligible for a partner visa;

That’s why I think it would be useful to talk to migration agents, they could advice you something precise. Chinese speakers find Chinese agents, Indians deals with Indian agents, I’m sure there are English/ Italian speaking one’s as well.
