Cool Best way to get FBI/State police checks while in Sydney

Hi everyone!

With the upcoming Covid concessions going into effect at the end of this month, I have been asked to provide an updated FBI and California Police Check by mid- March in regards to our off-shore PMV300. In the States, I was able to use the livescan process and get the results within a few days.

Has anyone been able to do this quickly while in Sydney? Has anyone used a channeling service?

I know that I can go and get my fingerprints manually done and post to the States and wait a few weeks for results. However, it is 2021, there has to be an easier and faster way....

Thank you for any advice.

Thank you,

Jess

Hi Jess,

Your best bet is to use a channeler. The Home Affairs website lists the following approved FBI channelers:
Accurate Biometrics - www.accuratebiometrics.com
National Credit Reporting - www.myFBIreport.com
National Background Check Inc. - www.nationalbackgroundcheck.com
Telos Identity Management Solutions - LLC www.telosid.com

I suggest you contact them to find out their costs, requirements and processing time.

Good luck.

I would either use a service as suggested, or pay for express posting to the states - from memory the FBI only mails to a US address. I remember having them sent to my family in the states and then they express mailed them to me here (I could be wrong though).

I'm curious, when did you have your original scans done? I uploaded my FBI results from when I first submitted my application 2 years ago, now worried they will be considered expired and I'll have to get them re-done too very frustrating as they were current when the application was submitted
