Dorota,

As you have already lodged your application do not send anything until you are asked. Be firm and confident, don't be scared and worried.
I do not think Lavisy has already lodged the application but is preparing to do so in the future!

As for not sending anything unless asked for it, hopefully sufficient information will be provided with the application and certainly I'd expect the best approach is with applications that can be borderline, to initially provide all the information that will support an application and not hold anything back.

Thanks guys! I haven't handed it in yet, still gathering everything together. Our appointment is on the 6th January.

We have a few stat decs so hopefully that will help like you said and my bfs mum is explaining the situation in her stat dec....so fingers crossed.

One quick question, you mentioned a timeline. Does that mean just a brief overview of events on A4 kind of things, from when we met till now?

Sorry for all the questions, getting all stressed as its so close :S

Yep, just dot pointed oneliners that can also serve as an index for or refer to any applicable accompanying documentation, but keep it as uncluttered as possible to highlight from when you started out together, when the relationship commenced etc.

Thanks Wanderer I make sure I do one.

Just been going through my checklist and have noticed that I need to do form 1101 police records check. Now I have a national Criminal History Records check with the WA Education and Training Sector. Is this one ok,or do in need to to this from 1101 too?
This is bad if I need to do this form since it says it takes about 30 days for it to be cleared, my application is next week! panic!

Im going to ring Immi tomorrow before sending off this form, really hoping they say I dont have to do it. Anyone else been through this?

Whether or not you'll need a new overseas police check may depend on who assesses your application and you could make reference to the one for WA.
In being in Oz since you had your home country one, it could be OK but also possible you'll need an Australian one.

In any case contact DIAC and though wording for police checks re onshore applications is the police check should be done, you'll likely be able to provide any required when requested by a CO.

Im currently waiting for my UK police check to arrive so could be any day now. My main concern is whether I can use my WA education police check i had done about 6 months ago and not have to do this 1101 form.

Il ring tomorrow and let you guys know.

Sounds like they may have given themselves an extra days holiday in some offices Lavisy and I've not seen anywhere on their site which days would be public holidays, so can't reall help on that.

You'll just have to try them again in morning and see how you go.
