Any Idea or update on as to when the New MODL will be in force?? Or in other words, when is the CSL going to be phased out??

Only thing I've heard on the horizon is that DIAC have made recommendations to the minister but that could be rumour.

I really doubt that they can move too far away from what they have and there'll be more something like we have now, all be it with different names and whereas the MODL has been up for regular review, so they may also review from time tio time whether an occupation in higher demand should be moved on to the CSL.

There're going to be some difficulties in trades numbers relying on Employer Sponsorship or lets say there already is and perhaps some further fine tuning will need to take place in that area.

Just keep checking Department of Immigration & Citizenship

Thanks Wanderer :-)
To be honest, wat I am keen about is the IELTS score for Accountants to be reduced as being in Cat 5 with SS of WA is not helping a lot.... So hopefully expecting some good news for us in new MODL :-)
