Hi Mark, I have read quite a lot in this forum and understand you are a very good advisor in the auz migration process.

Despite reading much, I still could not comprehend certain application process and hope you can enlighten me. Pardon me for my poor understandings. A little background of myself as follow:

Currently. I am able to get 60 points based on the following:
Age 40: 15 points
IELTS assuming band 7: 10 points
Graduated from Auz University with Bachelor degree in Mech Eng: 15 points
Met 2 yrs full time study in Auz uni: 5 points
More than 8 yrs of employment overseas (in air-conditioning and refrigeration industries, currently a sales manager) out of Auz: 15 points

(1) Should I go for subclass 189 or 190 with an extra 5 points to make 65?

My further questions are as follow:

(2) Since I did my undergraduate in Sydney, do I still need to submit IELTS results to Engineers Australia?

(3) If IELTS results are required in (2), should I wait for the IELTS results and then apply to EA for skills assessment? Or if IELTS result is not required for EA, can I apply concurrently to EA for skills assessment while waiting to take my IELTS?

I am also facing problems figuring the right application forms and documents to submit to EA, hence questions as follow:

(4) As I have done my full time bachelor degree in mechanical engineering in Sydney, should I use the application form for Assessment of Australian Engineering Qualifications under "accredited qualifications"? Or am I suppose to use other forms?

(5) If the form in (4) is to be used, which are the fees that I need to pay to also seek opinion on my 10 years of overseas working experiences? Standard AEQ assessment AUD155, Relevant Skilled Employment AUD250?

I'm really confused with which application form, documents to submit and what are the payments to make to Engineers Australia for my case.

Hoping you or any kind soul can help me to understand better so that I can apply soon. Thank you in advance!

Best Regards,
Anglerwes
