Cool 176 visa timeframe?

Hi

Anyone know have first hand experience on how long it is currently taking before you get a CO?
From what I understand once you get a CO and your docs are in order, you should be at the end stage of medicals and PCC

I am applying as Accountant on a 176 WA sponsored Visa.

Cheers

If you have the IELTS sevens crazyhorse to put you on the CSL, I'd not expect it to be more than a few months but if you do not have the IELTS score to be on CSL, it'll possibly be a number of years for relatively new applicants.
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/gener...processing.pdf about as good a guide as you can get for now.

Thanks very much Wanderer

My lowest band score was 8 on the IELTS. Will be praying for a quick turnaround from DIAC. Now, if I can just get the darn WA state sponsorship, (5 and a half months and counting)

CONGRATS Buddy,

As you mentioned earlier, that you are on CSL, it sould be a wait of only few months before you land in Australia :-)

Hi all ,
I am new here but reading threads since week. am planing to start my immigration process, may be next month i need help from all of you guys, specially wanderer like where to start and what step i have to take first can say from scratch level.
As i am an IT professional and got 1 year experience closely related to nominated occupation which is in CSL and 3+ years part time exp from MODL in same field. I will opt for skilled sponsored migrant subclass 176 visa as i can also choose 175.

* so suggest me what to do wether i have to apply on 176 or 175?
* secondly if i go for 176 then what will be my priority cat is that 2 or 3? as my profession lies in both CSL & MODL?
* and there is some confusion about areas like m gonna go for NSW (sydney)m i illigible or not??
* what specific/additional documents i have to gather before applying to ACS?
* and do i need to take ielts test before submiting to ACS???
* how long this process will take time?

I wud realy appreciate any valuable and professional input from you guys

regards
kajis
