Hi Suja -

Just getting back to you as you had already emailed me offline. ACS generally requires, for degrees other than a recent Australian degree, a minimum number of years of work experience in order for ACS to deem you as "skilled". Based on your situation it looks like 2 years may be their requirement. As such, you would only be able to claim skilled work experience after those 2 years of work experience were completed - the 2 years that ACS requires. In your case this would reduce your work experience to 3.4 years if indeed ACS is taking 2 years for their requirement.
