Boston University graduate

I am graduating from Boston University, with MS in TV production.

I am originally from Pakistan with 2 years experience working for a News Channel in Prgram Development in Pakistan.

I am now looking for immigration options to Australia. What are the prospects for a foreign graduate in the field of media?

Will it be possible for me to make it through the immigration process under skilled independent category or should I look for jobs first?

You ought to have a look at occupations on A-Z Occupations List - Australian Skills Recognition Information for starters and if you find any that suit your studying, then have a look at the SOL to see if the occupation is there and what points you'd get.

Next step is to a self assessment you'll find in the eligibility section of the GSM visas found under Visa Options @ Professionals and other Skilled Migrants - Workers - Visas & Immigration
