Cool Ielts

I applied 176 non CSL on March 2009 suppose to get visa in 2011 or 2012. If in the meantime my IELTS expires do we have to appear again in 2011? My IELTS is valid till March 2011.

Not sure on that, you may have to though Immi may accept that you had it as at time of application.
You could always send a PLE to Immi - Contact Us - Department of Immigration and Citizenship

I and my wife submitted IELTS at the time of application as it was mendatory. I have also taken points for my IELTS to make it 100, so they should not ask IELTS agian, what do you all think

I used to work in the IELTS field and if I remember rightly for your IELTS results to remain valid, the exam must be within 2 years of submission of your application. Anything after that period and the test needs to be taken again. From what you've said, it looks as if your results were valid at the time of application, so you may not have to re-sit. However, it does look as if the English requirements have changed recently which may affect your case. If I were you, I'd perhaps contact the DIAC with regards to the issue just to make certain.
