According to new priority processing guideline set by DIAC on 8th Feb 2010, “State Migration plan” has been introduced that will get more priority than CSL applicants.

Not sure when this state migration plan will be released and come in action. Until then what will happen to CSL applicants? Will their application be halted?

I’ve applied in May 2009, subclass-175 and submitted my medical last week. I was expecting VISA approval shortly. But right now I’m not sure if this new priority processing will affect my VISA processing or not? In a word would my VISA processing be delayed? PLS help.

The designated State Nomination plans will be dependent on the new SOL and further MODL review, timing at this stage being new SOL by end of April and the existing CSL to be in place until mid year, processing according to existing priorities to continue with transition arrangements to be announced - and so that'll likely be for from end of April to mid Year, thus May/June.
