second year WH - TOURIST VISA

Can anyone help me?

I am in oz on a tourist visa with a NFS condition but I have done my 3 months farming when i was on my 1st WH visa. Can I activate it even if it was october 2008 when i left from my 1st working holiday visa? Will I have to leave oz to apply or not?

Many thanks

Hi bear and welcome to the forum,

There could be hope for if you have all the documentation re the regional work records for second WHV eligibility, http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/work...visa-works.htm says you can apply in Australia on a visa other than the first WHV.

There is a NFS Condition Waiver application that can be successful in some situations and though the second WHV may not meet with success as far as a reason goes, no harm in having a go [ possibly a first with DIAC re WHV as reason]
http://www.immi.gov.au/media/fact-sh...dition8503.htm has details - let us know how you go.

Good luck.
