skill worker experience

Hi,
I want to send my documents to ACS, I've nominated system manager. I've total work experience is 3 years and 9 month.

Here is my experience:
1 year experience as a system support engineer.
2 years and 2 month as an IT manager
7 month as Network Administrator.

I want to clear one thing before sending my testimonial to ACS that they write following on their website:

If your nominated occupation is:

worth 60 points
and
you have been employed in your nominated occupation, or a closely related occupation listed on the SOL, for at least three (3) of the four (4) years before the day of your application.

Means they required 3 years of experience right?

Literally I don't understand meaning, please elaborate.

The information you quote is from the Immi website and there is a recent experience as base requirement and extra[specific] experience [the three years] is for additional points.
Any points for occupation is from having your occupation positively assessed [ in your case from ACS] , a separate exercise and they have their own experience requirements [ four years ] .

Thanks for guide me.

So I've to wait for 3 month and I'll have complete 4 years experience. Tell me one more thing as I mention my experience here, will it be sufficient for ACS? or ACS has their own decisions no one can predict.

Hi FFDX, do you have a full degree in IT. if you do you will need 4 years post qualification for ACS, if you do not have a degree then you will need 6 years at a senior level, and then it can get a bit complicated. Regards Mary

Hi FFIDX

You will have to wait until you have the required 4 years experience before sending your documents to ACS. If you send them before it is likely that they will come back with a negative assessment.

Ensure your references are dated correctly before you dispatch everything.

Hope it all goes well for you.

Regards Mary

Thanks for your guidance and positive response.
As they remove MODL and no substitute in future, this makes point hunting difficult. If I've less than 120 points means If I have 115 point then will they consider me? and process my application? or I will have to wait ....wait and wait.

You still have the option of trying for State sponsorship. even if its for an 'off list' occuaption.

Unfortunately this is a time of uncertainty for many many people so I understand your frustrations. Its not easy I know.

I can only suggest that you keep monitoring the DIAC website and the changes when they come in. SOL list etc, then you will have an indication of what way to go once you have the 4 years for ACS assessment.

I will wait with bated breath and really do hope that it all works out the way you want it to in the end. Regards Mary
