Can a full time paid internship experience be included in total work experience?

If it is an internship following graduation and thus you are qualified and if it's medicine for instance and you're practising as a qualified doctor I'd see no reason why not.
However, if the internship is part of the course to qualify you for graduation I'd think not.
I suppose it could be the difference between being an intern as against a first year resident if that is the difference between pre-grad and post grad.

it was post graduate, government sponsored full time paid internship in the relevant field.
so you think that it can be included in the experience, right?

Experience as far as Immi goes is usually defined as a minimum of 20h/w in your occupation or a closely associated one so if you were already qualified, it should not be a problem.
