Hi all,

I am interested in immigrating to Australia. I am a metallurgical engineering. I have total 18 years experience. 8.5 years in my field i.e metallurgy and 9.5 in IT i,e SAP consultancy. Needless to say I am working in IT for last 9.5 years and in metallurgical field anymore. I just turned 40. I have sent my details to a consultant for initial assessment. For my IT experience I was assessed for ICT Business Analyst- 261111-ACS post. I am told I dont have enough points as my qualification is not IT.

Now the question is can I apply immigration based on my initial experience in metallurgical field i.e Metallurgist- 234912-VETASSESS?

Your inputs and guidance will be highly appreciated.
