Question Wife and kids travel after Family PR

I need help in understanding if after getting a PR for family, can I travel to Australia alone or is it necessary to take the family along?

Also, after landing once, do the wife and kids have to stay there full time with me for the first 2 years or can they return to the home country while I look for a job and try to settle professionally before shifting them.

Please help in answering this.
