What Visa?????

Hi there, Im from Ireland and need help. Im looking for info on how to apply, and for what type visa should we apply for to return back to oz for my girlfriend and i and our 15 month old child. We are both from Ireland and are looking to return for a couple of yrs maybe more. I was in oz on a holiday visa for one yr, 06-07. I work as a mechanic but i have no papers and herself is a child care worker.
Any info would be great.
Thanks .....

As far as you working as a mechanic Mack, you'll be really up against it without papers unless you can have some great ewmployer recommendations and better still if you did any mechanic work in Australia on your WHV.
Motor mechanics do not need to be licensed in all Australian states and if you were on the ground here and prepared to be working somewhere more remote where employers were finding it hard to get good people, that'd be your best bet to see if it was possible to get employer sponsorship.
To do that, and ETA may be best way of getting yourself here and you may want to consider heading out alone for a recce trip.

What I've posted for Claire @ http://www.australiaforum.com/visas-...ored-visa.html is all pertinent to your own situation.

If your Gf is qualified in Childcare then her employment situation may be better.
