You'll need to have your qualifications assessed and you'll find details on Teacher - Primary School Teacher 2412-11 - Australian Skills Recognition Information and then there'll be registration requirements re any particular state.

Primary level teaching is not listed in higher demand occupations but there could be work available in more remote locations so it'll be worth checking the state education departments for their links re any remote location vacancies.

Are you planning on coming to Oz with a WHV for if so, though you'll still need assessment and registration along with likely a special police clearance re working with children, you'll probably be restricted to single term or relief work because of the Immi WHV six months/employer rule.

If I was you I'd get my assessment done before leaving for Australia, and even get an idea of what areas may have vacancies so you could even look at registration for at least one state [ I'd expect there could be an expediting process apply once you're rgistered once ] and get a working with children police clearance done too.

With all that done, all you'll need to bring will be your Aussie assessment certificate, any registration done and I'd have certified copies of those along with the police clearance.
