I applied at the end of March and am still waiting, so we'll just have to be patient

A lot of the contents on the immi website are outdated, unfortunately. It does say though it's 12-15 months at the moment somewhere on the website.
Looks like we still have a long way to go then, we applied 1st of September 2014. I'm not to worried how long it takes we have enough evidence i think, although we have a few loose ends to tighten up in the next few months.

Thank you Starlight and ScottyP. It is great to hear from people in the same cohort.

I am thinking of sending in more documents too. By email, as I already have 60 attachments. I have additional rental leases, car rego, etc and anyhow, I still have to renew my driver license and send an 1022.

They say it can slow the process down, but really, I can't believe it will and they ask us to let them know of "any changes in circumstances".

That's up to you, I personally wouldn't do it as stated before, that they clearly don't want that. I guess it just makes everything more complicated for them.
You can upload more in your partner's section by the way see attached picture

As for me, I'm from Malaysia and I applied for 820 in Sydney in early October. Mine is a decision-ready application as well. I did not go through 300. So far I have only received an email from the department acknowledging that my application is valid, together with the grant of Bridging Visa A, etc.

I'm not worried about anything, really. Soon after my BVA kicked in, I applied for a Tax File Number, and enrolled into Medicare. Currently I'm looking for a job. In terms of visa, there is nothing I can do now except waiting patiently for my 820 because you really don't know how long it will take. When things are beyond my control, I will just let it be.

Here's wishing all of us a smooth journey to 820/801. :-)

Hi Mrs Z, that's great news about your bridging visa. I just have a few questions, when you applied onshore what visa were you currently on? Were you in australia just on a tourist visa? Also are you able to work freely in any job or do you find it hard to be accepted for work because your only on a bridging visa?

Thanks!
