The important thing to remember is that emotions play no part in the decision making process. All decisions are based on facts alone, and unless you produce sufficient evidence to convince the case officer your application will fail. Applying for a visa is an extremely stressful experience, be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster, where the result could be worse than the ride. |
I'll be joining this waiting room in a few short months :)

Not for long, though, Ned. :)

I just want to give a bit of info.
Applied for a 820 Visa 4th March 2014. My wife did all the paperwork for me. Applied on Paper, had the Grant sent to me via courrier. Supplied all they wanted except form 80, which wasn't on the check list I had and they didn't ask for it. Had done the medical test all ready. Visa was Granted the 4th Feb 2015 Cheers... I'm off to the pub! |
Congrats & good luck!
Yes, time to enjoy a drink. Best wishes to you both for the next step and eventual PR. :):):)

PR shouldn't be a problem. I reckon this part is the tuff bit. I hate paperwork.... But I guess to screen people is necessary this time of age. |

Mark posted recently that for the 801 he has been seeing rejections and advise people to submit the same kind of evidence as they did for the 820. Once upon a time the 801 is pretty much a tick and flick job but not anymore. Keep collecting all that evidence :) |

Quote//.. Congrats and all the best! Found it interesting that if you have troubles logging in, it might be because they are about to give you the visa. Noted .... """"" THANKS :-) Actually it makes sense. . If a new visa is issued, then the old visa should NOT show up on VEVO.. |
