Do you not get your statements emailed or mailed?
I do, I just didn't know that you were talking about the regular statements that we get. Ok that's fine now, I understand. Thank you for helping

Hi Amandy,

When did you lodge this? Give them 72hrs.
If you need to travel urgently you can call them and advise immediately so they can act on it ASAP.

This happened to us in March and it took 72hrs exactly to have everything updated including vevo...and don't be surprised when you're able to retrieve the old one and new passport, which I find rather strange!

Oh ok sorry I should've explained myself better.
But if you want to be more specific, get them to email you something that states your partner being your sole beneficiary???

We supplied the Department our most recent statement and a letter from our super fund.

Thanks for answering.
For mine we scanned the confirmation the super funds sent back and for my husband's was a screen shot on the online bit where he added me (he didn't have to send it by post).

It has been two weeks!

Do you mean logging on to VEVO with the new passport number? As we've tried that and it did not work.
Is there a more formal way to submit change of passport details other than via email to CO or ImmiAccount?
We don't need to travel - it's just been 17 months already and we were hoping it was just the renewal of the passport they were waiting for. Wishful thinking.

I did not submit my form to my CO. I sent the form and certified copies of the identity documents to DIBP by mail (their GPO BOX mailing address, and don't forget to make sure it's registered). And it was updated to the new passport number within like 2 business days.

Hi guys!

I applied in July 2014 - today I received an email saying that my application has been transferred to Perth - hopefully that's a good sign!

It's all good! The new passport log on worked in Vevo! Updated!!

I scanned the passport and form 929, emailed to CO and uploaded to immiaccount. They asked for certified but it's stupid as for all our online application nothing was certified just colour scanned. Sometimes they ask for something that's not needed. Stupid really.

I haven't even submitted any form 888s - and CO says just waiting on security clearance, nothing further is needed. Lol let's see if I can get away with it.
