Yes, I applied in June 2014 and got an e-mail from a case officer last week asking for further information, Form 80 and the AFP from my sponsor. Not sure why sponsor needed AFP, no kids in the application. Maybe because he is kiwi? Anyways just waiting for AFP now

Did you provided the information upon lodging your application back in June 2014?

My visa journey:
03.06.14 Applied, decision ready application, on paper, NSW, coming from high risk country. We lived together 10 months before we applied, we registered our relationship.
12.03.15 received automated email, to send any documents, what are missing.
28.04.15 They asked police clearance, I accidentally sent National police clearance but needed was AFP Clarence
11.05.15 Sent AFP Clarence
12.05.15 VISA GRANTED

So happy, thank you everyone. I was very nervous about my application as we haven't been living that long together and if we had enough evidences. But obviously all was good!
Hi Ally34,
May I ask you if your country of origin is low risk or high risk for Australian immigration purposes.

If there is a quota perhaps its set by office? I applied from melbourne.
Hi LouElla,
Did you hear anything further from DIBT? I also received similar generic email from them. I applied in July 2014 via migration agent. I'll organize for medical , AFP clearance and overseas police clearance next week.

No nothing yet Im hoping to hear something before the 27th though as my afp check runs out on the 28th. Its not expensive or hard to redo id just rather not lol. Not sure im gunna be that lucky tho. Ive got everything uploaded. Was supposed to be decision ready but my medical needed redoing. So Ive got til July before that expires.

I applied on the 2nd of July 2014 and today 22/5 i received a call from my case officer. What a relief to finally hear from an actual case officer. She asked me to provide the form 80, do my medical check up and provide any new additional evidence to prove on going relationship in past year. I did ask if my application seems fine and she said everything seems fine and she just requires the information she had requested for. Yay so happy to know that my application is on track and currently being reviewed. Good luck to everyone else that's waiting

Hi, please can I ask - are you from a low risk or high risk country? I'm from England and am hoping not to have to complete Form 80 as I'm really not 100% with some of my employment details especially when I was backpacking!

Hi i am from Malaysia which is low risk. I dreaded having to fill the form 80 out but now i suppose i have to. Anything to get my visa approved quicker
