I also was uncertain about some of my jobs during uni, such as a restaurant that no longer exists so I can't easily find out start and end dates. You should make your best guess, and only list jobs for which tax was paid. Anything informal or "under the table" should not be mentioned. I've had to complete the Form 80 twice now - once a few years back for a tourist visa and just now for the partner visa. Given how they are scrutinizing all applications now, I thought I would get the form 80 out of the way and submit it up front. I'd rather never be contacted and just suddenly receive my visa grant than to hear 8 or 9 months in that they want something I could've completed on my own months before. It's up to you but I've read elsewhere on the forum the advice to just go ahead and turn it in.

I did ask if my application seems fine and she said everything seems fine and she just requires the information she had requested for. Yay so happy to know that my application is on track and currently being reviewed. Good luck to everyone else that's waiting
Great nres for you! Hopefully you wont be waiting much longer now

Thanks for the kind response. Please update if you hear anything from the case officer. Hopefully you'll get the grant straight way as you provided enough. Thanks

I'm Swedish also low risk country and I was asked to complete form 80 to last week. If you're not sure about dates etc just put in what you can supply.

Thanks for the info, what date did you apply? I'm expecting an email any day now but it would be nice if it was approved straightaway as it is decision ready apart from Form 80. That's just wishful thinking but I can see that my status was changed to 'application received' on 15 May.

I applied on the 3rd of June 2014, medicals and police checks uploaded just a few weeks after.

Just thought I'd share that my colleagues 820 was granted today (she also gave birth to their first daughter today!! How amazing is that!) she applied in August 2014, pretty sure she didn't hear anything until the grant!

I've just been granted my 820 today!

I applied on 13 June 2014, and now on 25 May 2015 (just under a year) have been granted the 820.

I applied online and submitted everything upfront including my medical, police checks, and form 80. The only email I ever received the whole time was from the department letting me know that my application had been sent to Perth, and that was a couple of months ago.

I just thought I'd let everyone know how my situation went as I know I wanted to read about everyone else's when I was first applying!

Now to wait another year for the 801..... At least I can travel at will and am not nervous waiting for the first decision anymore!
