Been waiting 13 months for us, we got similar email to others stating ours will be processed in the Brisbane office. Although we applied online in Perth, i guess it depends on what country you come from or how much work load there is.

Been waiting for a little over 11 months now. Sponsor's status still says "submitted" and mine "assessment in progress". No email communication or anything since. Luckily I am not planning on going overseas until April next year so hoping it all gets sorted by end of January which will be 15 months

Applied online from Sydney by the way.

I have just been granted my BVB again.

I had applied for 22 october to 5 november; and mentionned in the app I would be overseas again from mid december to mid january.

Turned out the BVB travel rights were granted until early February.

I am happy to have my BVB - one thing less to worry about, but I was kind of hoping after 14 months that they would grant me the 820 when opening my file as there seems to be September grant I know it's silly!
Was also surprised they would grant travel rights until 18 months after application - I hope it's not a bad sign!!

Plus side, I posted the mail Tuesday afternoon so 48h turnover including posting is really positive.

Hi..there. just wondering how long does it after you've been allocated a case officer. My application was allocated to a CO about 3 weeks ago. I 've submitted all my documents. Nothing pending on the application. Surprisingly my application in immi account still appears as processing since I application. As some says status might be changed as received or submitted or ???Although all documents appears as received. Any suggestions? Plus my case is being processed in Melbourne. So guys any experience with Melbourne?

Congrats for the good news. That was pretty quick compared to the normal 12-15 months processing time. Just wondering if you had any special circumstances?

Im from PMV to 820.. Normally it will get granted within few days!! Mine took 9 weeks! Processing time is not the same as yours for 820, because , our files were investigated at the time of PMV.. And for PMV most of us waited 7-8 months..

Hi Helene! How many times have you applied for a BVB? I am thinking of going overseas late Feb and again Mid-August. I was thinkinh if they give me 6months BVB that wouldnt br enough so might apply twice.
