I applied in February it was granted until mid-April
Then applied 2 weeks ago, granted until February

I would recommend you write the dates of both your trips on the application so they might give you the BVB that covers both

Hi All!

So, my partner and I have applied for our 820 from PMV on Sept 22 this year. I know all of these answers have to be somewhere on here, but I figured posting would be quicker!

Do we need to gather all of our evidence again as if we are applying for a brand new visa, even though our PMV is on our immi account? I assumed so and we have already uploaded new declarations as well as copies of our passports/ID's and photos, but must we upload everything (new 888's, new police checks, medicals, etc) all over again?

Apologies if this has been asked before.

Cheers

VISA GRANT ALERT

I am pleased to say that after 1 year and 12 days of waiting my 801 visa was granted yesterday... I'm over the moon!! I applied 1 Oct 2014 and it was granted on 12 Oct 2015. 4 weeks after I received the email stating that my case had progressed through the queue and had been forwarded to Perth for processing. I applied online, onshore and am a NZ citizen. Went straight to 801 as we've been married for 14 years.

I'd like to thank all the regular contributers to this thread for all of the really useful advise and information posted here. It has been invaluable to us on this application journey.

Good luck to all those awaiting grants too. I'm sure the October ones are coming soon.

That was the first Champagne Monday I've had ever. Sore head this morning!!

Hi guys,

Just wondering at what stage i should let the case officer know about travel overseas? Travelling on the 21st Nov ,planning to apply for BVB first week of November.Even if i get the BVB first week of November ,can i wait until the last day before travel to let CO know about our travel plans. The reason is we might get 2 more weeks of our case being on the queue, rather than being put aside by CO.

***You just have to add more evidence to it. All the other documents submitted can still be used. Its sort of just a continuous process.

Awesome news, congrats!

Grants on this thread have been pretty quiet lately so it's good to see some movement!

Congratulations Helene! What a great end to the day enjoy celebrating! Just wanted to know if you'd had any contact from the department before being granted - ie: did they send you an email to say you'd progressed in the queue or that your application had been transferred etc?
