Congrats to all those who got their visa granted!

Last week was a year since we applied online in Sydney - fingers crossed we'll hear back soon :) No correspondence at all so far in case anyone is in the same situation. No news is good news I suppose? :)

I applied online in NSW in December 2014 and got an email last week it's transferred to the Perth office as well.
My partner rang them a few weeks ago so maybe that helped speed things up? Weird that you applied 2 months earlier and haven't heard a thing!

Hi everyone

Today I tried to check my visa status via VEVO online and it keeps showing the error message. The only information I can use is my BVA grant number.

Is this an indication that my 820 visa will be granted soon? I haven't receive any visa granted email from immigration and the only email from them was informing me that my visa was processed in queue in mid August.

Hi guys

My 820 partner visa was granted on 20th of October 2015, but until now, I haven't received any granted email from immigration but when I called the immigration they said your 820 visa is granted and I can see 820 is in effect!
This makes my day and good luck to everyone still waiting there and it won't be long!!!!

I tried to call them just to make sure everything was ok as when we first applied, everything showed as being received (including the payment) and somehow the bridging visa did not go through automatically. It took 2 days and that's because we called up. The person who took my call the other day refused to look into my file and just asked what the status was on my immi account and when I said "assessment in progress" she said that was my proof. I guess we'll just sit tight and wait :) I understand they must get this question 1000 times a day but checking would not hurt :(

Wow! You are lucky as most people have to wait 12-15 months. Congrats!

Hey guys when you apply for the 820 onshore are all the applications done online or can you hand them in person?

Also why does my Fiancee have to complete her health check again for the 820 onshore?

Thank you
