Hi Tassi_girl,

I applied the same date as yours. I received an email today informing that my application has been assigned a case officer.

I guess you need to reply letting the processing center know that you already provided the police check.

It is probably because your police check is over a year old so you need a new one. I've known in the past they have requested new police checks if they were done over a year ago. You may want to double check with immi though.

Wink Police certificate

Okay I do understand but why do they make people to
Apply for a police certificate twice!
Doesn't make sense but what does 😂😂😂
I just thought I can get around it and don't have to
Pay again! For another police certificate!

Most people recommend you wait until your CO asks for the police/medical checks to avoid having to do them again, since they typically would expire before your visa is granted if you complete them too soon.

But on the the application check list it says to provide
a police certificate?!
I also had to do my heath tests straight away and never
got a case officer.
I just tried to do everything right.

And I start the game!!!

Hello!!! After a thousand questions in this forum and millions of hours reading replies, histories, advices, suggestions and lots more, yesterday my partner and I clicked on the "submit" bottom and sent our application!!!!

My BVA was granted immediately, which will be in effect since Sunday as I am still under a visitor visa until Saturday!

Now we are in the process of uploading all our documents and evidence!!! I have already taken the medical checks and I'm going to request the police check in the following days!!!

Have a great day!!!

Be aware that with a forecasted processing period of 12-15 months, it's quite possible and even likely that your medical check and police checks would expire and that you would be asked to provide new ones. Most people suggest you wait until your CO asks for them to avoid the extra effort and cost of doing them twice.

Applied on 18 Nov 2015, should be soon to be processed. But my partner and I are going to overseas for holiday next week for more than 1 month. Should I inform immigration or just wait for them to contact me?
