You need to apply for 'bridging visa B' to travel overseas as 'bridging visa A or E' (which I assume you currently hold) does not have travel rights. |
Hello, we have a doubt! If I applied as the main applicant, do we need to fill an sponsor application as well?
The questions are exactly the same as my application, the only difference is that one is suppose to be written by my partner who is the sponsor! Thanks! |

Slogging through Form 80 at the moment. Going to have to ask my parents for my old passport number, but for the question about national identity documents or numbers, I imagine my US social security number is one of those? I have the number but not the card as it's not particularly relevant to my life here. I should be fine just listing the number?
Also for previous travel to Australia and my Australian visa history, I first applied for a WHV and had that for a year and now on BVA. I went home for three weeks whild on my WHV. I imagine I would put the BVAunder current visa status but the WHV under "have you been to Australia before" but how would I do that to include the three weeks I was travelling back home and what would I put for place of issue if I applied online and how would I answer it when I arrived here, flew back home and then back here if I've only left Australia once during the span of my visas? Edit: For the AFP police check, which addresses do I need to list? Should I just list home residential addresses (so the places I have live here in Australia and my last home address in the US?)The same as I listed on my Form 80? On the form 80 I am planning on listing my on campus addresses even though I still had the majority of my personal and financial mail at the time addressed to my home address. |
Sorry. should be Nov 2014. Thanks for all the reply. I am holding a valid student visa, so I do not need BVB.

Hello everyone,
Just want to share my good news. After 13 months waiting, finally I received my 801 grant today (on the basis of a long-term relationship). I am over the moon right now. Thank you everyone in the forum for your support. I especially want to thank medoes81 for sharing useful tips in preparing and organizing the partner visa application <http://www.australiaforum.com/visas-immigration/19778-820-partner-visa-approved-10-days-content-presentation-tips.html>. All the best for those who are waiting for grants :) |
