Oh okay, well it's still this year. And only six months ago, you're still in for a long wait. I suggest getting comfy :)

GRANT NOTICE! :D

Hi guys,

I've been crying with happiness since this morning when I received my grant notice.
Wasn't expecting a grant for another 6 months.

Applied Online, onshore on 26th April 2015.
Granted 21st December 2015, just under 8 months.

So happy. In the words of my partner "It's a Christmas miracle!"

Hoping that means more grants for everyone else!

Congrats to You. Yes, It's really really a miracle!

Hello guys, I'm just wondering if someone that has tried to fill the sponsor application lately has found that a couple of pages has dissapeared? Until one week ago there was a page 16 about the sponsors declarations and now it has gone. Do someone knows something about this
We don't want to submitt the sponsors application without information about his declarations!
Thanks!!!

Hello everyone
Is anyone know the difference of national police check between NSW POLICE FORCE and AFP(Australia Federal police)?
I has provided a police check from the former ,now they asking me provide police check from AFP.
Is this mean I was provided wrong in the beginning?
Thank y'all.

They probably want both. No different to the USA where they want a local (state) police check and an FBI (Federal) one as well.

I have only ever heard of Immigration asking for an AFP check, never heard anyone asked for a state check, so yes, the one you provided first wasn't right I would assume.

Great news, TR granted today, no further evidence was required just approved. Medical and police check was front loaded close to the start of application and they didnt require it updated at all, made no contact just granted it. SO HAPPY!! THANKS TO THIS FORUM FOR ALL THE HELP! Student visa was cancelled and went on bridging e visa, which migration agents said would be difficult, mind you i done all this myself with no help other then this forum. Life is now easier.

Hi 530i,
Congratulations!! That's the best Christmas gift ever...
May I know whether you provided form 80 with
initial application? As you were on student visa before, did you receive a new Hap ID for health check along with your Bridging visa? I applied in Nov 2014 as well, may I know which day of Nov 2014 you applied? Thanks for answering my questions ! Merry Christmas and happy new year! Bless you...

Hi Everyone, I havent been on here in a while as I have been busy adjusting to new life here in Aus - I applied onshore end of September 2015 - and I have just realized that I submitted everything (except medicals and police check from home country) EXCEPT I forgot to submit my financial evidences. I know its important, is it going to be detrimental that I am just gathering this all together this week and will submit this week? I haven't had any contact yet from immi, other than my bridging visa as I assume my application hasn't even been looked at yet....but will it be a bad thing that my critical evidence isn't all uploaded 3 months in? I am stressing out now! I have just sent off for police check from Canada, and will wait a bit longer to do the medicals so they don't expire (unless they ask me for them sooner) - but is it okay to upload my shared finances now? And how many of you continue adding new evidences as you go? I am thinking it can't hurt??
