Really really no idea that 309/100 come faster than 820/801. Some of my friends came from high risk country got the 309 on 9 mths only. |
I just received an automatically generated email giving me a checklist of documents required to process my 820 visa. I applied Feb 2015. My immi account has also changed to say that my application is being processed. Going for my health check this week. Anyone know what the approx. waiting time is from here?

I received the same automated email, but I am not sure if I have to submit the health check and police checks now. I am really confused.
I thought that you needed some sort of ID number for the health check and I didn't receive that. Same thing for the police checks. What should I do? I applied end of Dec 2014 and I am from Italy and been in a de-facto relationship with my partner for the last 5 years |
I've never heard of ID numbers for police checks. If they have asked for them, then you need to submit. It should be clear in the email if they have or have not asked. I'm not sure but I think the Health ID number is given where you apply online?

I had an automated email arrive last week saying my application had progressed in the queue and would be assessed. I'm organising my health checks and verifying everything is submitted to my IMMI account. I applied for 801/820 in Feb 2015.
VirginiaP, login to your IMMI account and follow the prompts to organise your health assessment. Your Hap ID will be provided during that process. From there, you can organise your assessment with Bupa. Keep in mind though that Bupa only organises health examinations 5 days out at a time. Best of luck, everyone! |
Hello everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
So my partner and I are going on holiday next month. I lodged my application in nov 2014 so I suppose I should be granted the visa soon.*fingercrossed* But you never know, that's why I am going to apply for bridging visa b anyway. From immi website, it says you must have substantial reasons for wishing to leave and re-enter Australia. Will immi refuse my application because I am just literally going overseas for holiday, instead of family illness etc? Cheers |
