Thanks for your prompt reply,TarlarAustralia and Maggie-May24.

I applied my visa in paper. Can I just email my CO with the scan copy attached or I need to sent the original copy by post then email CO my arriving date? Thanks.

They need the original if you applied by post so send that off, and once it's sent email your CO and let her know you have sent it, and then the date you'll return.

IMHO, If your CO contacted you via email, it is safe to say that you can email the CO with a copy, since you are overseas. Important documents get lost in the mail all the time and your document is time sensitive. To be on the safe side you could do both email and post.

I got my confirmation of my bridging visa today! My email said 9-12 months processing time, is this still correct? I've been reading 12-15 months on here.

Also, we've only listed two people on our 888 declarations even though we've always planned to get more, it just kinda depends who gets back to us first. Mish said in another thread that these might seem like an "after thought". How much will that matter if our other evidence is solid?

Thank for the advise, Syd. I have emailed my CO already with a copy of police check attached.

The grants seem to be coming around the 12-13 months mark, so I'd prepare for that as oppose to 9-12.

The minimum required is two, so if you want to add more it certainly can't hurt. I supplied four .

Congrats on your wedding:D

Hi Hoonie,

Are you from China? When did you apply 820/801 on shore? How long have you been waiting for? Did you apply at Brisbane office? Hopefully you can get it granted soon... Waiting for your good news...

Thanks, we had a fantastic day :)

We're supplying two from my husband's brother and dad who are both Australian and they're the ones we've put on my application. We also have one from my dad who is British but we've asked a few friends as well so it's a matter of seeing who gets back to us first.
