I applied for my AFP check in December and i got it within 5 days. I was impressed, fingers crossed for you!

I received an automated email from DIBP today saying that our application has progressed in the queue. We applied in May 2015. I know it is likely to be a few more months before any visa decision is made, but it feels good to get any communication regarding our application. Anyways, off we go on our holiday tomorrow .
