Tia.
It means you don't need to send any more evidence.

Also majority of onshore applicants don't get an interview unless they are questioning the genuiness of the relationship.

Applied on shore, paper, brisbane on December 30th
Medical done in January, police checks provided in September
Received progress in queue email in October, no other contact at all.
Did not fill out form 80
Low risk country

Good luck to everyone

Hi Mei81,

My husband is Brasilian also. I'm Australian. We applied ourselves (No migration agent) in June 2015 and only last week got our first correspondence requesting that my husband do the medical, which he completed this week. So that was 9 months without hearing anything other than the Bridging email immediately after submitting the application.

As far as I am aware, Brazil is classed as a "high risk" country. That is what I have been told anyway.

So happy to have had the first correspondence about the medical, now waiting with eyes, fingers, legs, toes crossed to be assigned a CO.

Really happy to read some of the positive stories. And for all the rest of us still waiting, I hope you are all well. Hoping we all get news soon. It's so stressful waiting!!

Hi pdub,

Thanks for the clarification regarding high risk.

I called and spoke with our Migration agent who explicitly informed me that high risk countries are classified as countries with political unrest/issues and not to worry about Brasil as it is not on this list.

I have just checked the DIBP website and according to the site it states any country NOT listed on the Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) list is high risk.

I am going to call her now for an explanation.

Thanks again for bringing this up.

You can refer to the definition that's published on the DIBP website: Family visa processing times

"The terms 'Low risk' and 'High risk' show whether passport holders are eligible to apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA).
Low risk applies to nationals from countries which issue ETA eligible passports. A list of these can be found on the department's website.
High risk countries are those which are not ETA eligible.
See: ETA Eligible Passports"

Brazilians are not eligible for an ETA, and are therefore classed as high risk.
