My "Social Aspect" PDF was originally 45MB and it compressed it down to 7.5MB (to which I just split into two documents). I think there were about 10 photos plus all the other information, it's crazy how large picture files are!
Thanks - already tried that one for the photos and didn't reduce it by much unfortunately.

It is crazy for photos reduced it by not alot but for movie tickets reduced by heaps.

I am from a low risk country but my sponsor was sponsored by ex partner 8 years ago. Would it be the reason why it is taking so long. Have been waiting for 15 months now. I have no response at all from immi. Very stressful

Hi Michelle,

I've got an queue email too in Jan. I sent them an email to ask for HAP ID for getting health check done. I received the letter next day. Maybe you can try that too.

Hi Lutenisa,

When and where did you lodge your 820/801 visa application? And which country are you from? Thanks and we may give to you further advice..

Any more applicant for 820 from December 14 still waiting? Plz come forward so I don't feel I am left out . I feel that DIBP forgot about me. Do I e mail them asking for update or keep waiting. I don't mind the wait coz it means less evidence for 801.

Awesome news! Congrats! It must feel so good to have that weight off your shoulders

So, I went for my medical on Wednesday, and today I received an email from my CO requesting more information...

Dumbass me went and sent them a STATE police check not the NATIONAL one
I have now applied for the national AFP one.

Now, this is all she asked for, I'm assuming this is good news as there wasn't a request for anything else like more evidence...

Also, I'm confused as I applied online and I'm in Perth, but this email was from a CO in Vic, not that it matters but...

PS: I've just realised, it's been EXACTLY 1 year since I applied!
