We hit the 15 month mark 2 weeks ago tomorrow.

That said, we had an email in October saying our application was being moved to Perth for processing (we applied online in Sydney), and an email in Feb from our case officer requesting more information, with a 4 week time frame for submitting this. After emailing our case officer, we have 1 final document to upload (we're just awaiting the official translation), and I'm guessing it is this, combined with Easter is what is holding up our decision.

I did form 80 and new AFP check ( they didn't request but I think I should do.) then in January 2016 I got another email said that my application is in the queue. And 3 weeks ago I emailed them to request

Our average processing time is 12-15 months from date of lodgement and it will be a few more months before this application reaches the front of the queue.
Yours Sincerely,NSW Temporary Partner section"

Any idea if this a generic reply e mail to push people away or a genuine reply for my application?
If it is genuine delay of my application, Do I need to do anything? like get worried, assign an immigration agent to look into my application contents !!!
Anyone got similar reply?
Anyone still waiting for 15 months or more? Please let me know. I appreciate your help
This sounds like a generic email as obviously you are at the end of the stated processing time. Hopefully you will get a grant email soon. This visa process can be so frustrating!

I think that should be fine to go to Melbourne and have your medicals done. It still is with the same organisation/company/healthcare thing (loss for words but you get what i mean), just a different state. The actual screening procedure and criteria would not change just because you were in a different state. Also, your unique HAP ID would link your details back to your application in the first place so it should be all good.

If you're still unsure, just call up the contact number and ask. But like I said, since they are available nationwide, there shouldn't be any difference to you getting the medicals in Tasmania or in Melbourne. That would just be silly.

It's not a problem to get medicals done in a different state.

Well that is very strange, I'm in Perth, yet my CO is in Vic!

Hello everyone, hope you had a good Easter break

Maybe a silly question, but when I check my immiaccount, it says the following:

Applicant: application received
Sponsor: submitted

Is this right? I just think it's a bit weird that it doesn't say the same for both... Also please someone tell me what to do if it's not correct. Lodged late Feb 2016 and uploaded all evidence (used sponsor's section for his stuff and applicant's section for mine) within two weeks.

That's normal! Eventually, I think sponsors application status will change to approved, but that probably won't happen until your application is allocated for assessment.
