Hi pinkpony,

I replied to this same question you posted in the form 80 thread: http://www.australiaforum.com/visas-...ml#post1235602

Cheers!

I've just received an email a week ago, stating that my application has been progressed in the queue (woohoo!!!) and am now in the midst of filling in the tedious Form 80!

Would really appreciate some help with the form!

For Question 35 (Have you been to Australia before?), am I supposed to list down every single visa I've ever had (i.e. more than 5 visitor visas and about 3 student visas) or every trip that I've made to Australia?
And is this just for the past 10 years or for my whole life?

Also, I've noticed that the question does not specify to list all previous visas/trips (unlike the previous version of the form).
Would it be ok if I list my visas as the final trip I've made on each visitor visa and the final trip on each student visa? Or even, the final trip on my last visitor visa and the final trip on my last student visa?
**Just being hopeful here, haha!

Thank you for your help in advance!
And good luck to everyone still waiting on their applications xx

Hey guys,

I have a quick question. I'm trying to collate all information to update my immi account since it has been almost 8 months since I've applied (they have sent me the generic e-mail asking for more information).

Now my bank did not change my statement generation period like I asked them to last year (it was set for 6 months without my knowledge, I asked them to change it but they never did - and i never realised) and I'm a month before the next generated statement. I am going to the bank to try to see if there is a way to get an official statement before this date since it was their stuff up but has anyone just printed off the transaction listings and gotten it certified by the bank??

There's been a number of joint purchases in the past couple of months that I would like to put on my immi record but it's not in the old statement. This is highly annoying as I thought I could collate all data by mid next week.

.
For our PMV, I did screen prints from my online account, as I never get paper statements these days.
I didn't get it certified, I just submitted the screen print.

Smile Grant notice!

Hi all!
I finally got my 820 grant notice on Friday!
I applied mid December 2014, got an email request for more information in February this year, provided that in March and got my grant notice on 8/4/16. Pretty much a 16 month wait. Low-risk country and applied with medicals and police checks. Hopefully the 801 grant is quicker but very happy for now to have my 820!
Thanks to all for the guidance and support on this page.
Keep the faith people, it'll happen eventually.

notsure, syd and Rogue87 like this.

801 just under 10months

Just got 820 and 801 visas approved at the same time after 10 month.
Applied for 820 in June 2015 online.

Being together with my partner since 2009, we registered de facto relationship in 2011. I've lived in Australia for 10 years. I am from a low risk country. Currently in grad school (had student visa the whole time).

What we uploaded other than minimum requirements:

De facto Victorian certificate

Copy of joint bank account (we had it just for the sake of having it but we generally used individual bank accounts).

Record of daily expenses to show that we have been halving bills, groceries etc though.

Screenshot showing that we are preferred beneficiaries (not legally binding) of each others super.

Summary of Facebook timeline showing development of our relationship since 2009 - emphasised that we know each other's family, friends etc.

5 witness statements; one from our mutual friend, one from my partner's sister, one from my partner's cousin, one from my partner's father, one from my brother (even though he is not Australian permanent resident)

I did all medical examination and police check right at the start.

I thought June was best time to apply since it is the final month of financial year.

Got told in Jan or Feb that I progressed in queue, then reminded to upload everything by 10th April in March for a chance to be approved by June. Got two emails on 11th, one for 820 and one for 801.
