Hello,

We submitted online whilst living in NSW and the Victorian processing center processed our application. Are you sure you have uploaded all documents? We never received an email requesting more documents as we made sure we submitted everything. Maybe give them a call and ask a time frame, i did this 2 weeks before our VISA was granted and they said around 2 weeks. Also ask if you have a Case Officer assigned.

Good luck and let us know how you go.

Thanks!

Hi all,Ive applied for "Partner visa outside Australia (subclass 309/100)" June last year. ( Bangkok )
I have had 2 different signatures on 2 emails which I assumed were case workers, I just replied to each relevantly.
Also does anyone know if you get a 3 month warning notice that there will be a decision on the visa ?

Hi all
After 16 months and 24 days I got my 820 grant. Applied by paper in Sydney on 30 December 2014. No call no CO no communication which stressed me. Couldn't understand the cause of the delay. My application was very comprehensive and I topped it up with more evidence 14 months after applying. Thank GOD this wait is over. Now the preparation for 801 starts.
Thank u all

So now being in the "waiting" period of eligibility to apply for 801, what do people do to "get prepared" ? I have no clue what to expect at this second stage. I would like to think they don't ask you for all the same information again like they did with the 820 (wouldn't be surprised).

If anyone could shed some light on the 801 process from when you can apply, documents and time frame i would really appreciate it.

Thanks!
