Here's the latest on mine - first applied on 14th July 2015, received generic email on 1st April (I think) saying to upload all info if I had not already done so, added Form 80 then. Got an email on the 6th May stating my application was being handled in the London office of the Department - requested I add new police checks for Australia and Ireland as the one's I originally uploaded must have been out of date, and a Birth Cert for my partner. I uploaded those on the 18th May, and now just waiting. On my email it said applications being handled from the London office were taking between 10 - 14 months to be dealt with.

I'm was hoping that as they just requested police checks and birth certs that they had enough evidence and I would get word on the visa soon, but I fear I may still have a good while to wait! Here's hoping it's not too long
Oh wow your DOL is one day earlier than mine! I haven't heard anything from them yet since the generic email on the 1st of April asking for more information. I submitted AFP police checks and medicals as well as an update on relationship before end of April. Didn't need a Malaysian police check as I haven't lived in any other country other than australia for more than 12 months in the past 10 years.

At least you know they're looking at your application if they asked for extra documents? Let me know if you hear anything more/progress through. It's kinda good to see someone with a very similar lodgement date. Here's hoping we make it through in their quota before the end of this financial year!

That is a really long time! You should call them and while you may have to wait 3hrs to talk to someone, it's worth a try. Just politely, let them know that you have been waiting much longer than average time frame and you are just seeking an update.

Have you uploaded additional evidence since your application? I kept adding evidence up to a week before my visa grant.

We applied in mid September 2015 and haven't heard anything. It's worse than waiting for Christmas!!
Has anyone from around that time heard anything yet? I know it's early but I'm just a little impatient!

I know the feeling! We applied March 2015 and found out 2 weeks ago, our wait time was 14 months and 15 days. I wouldn't expect anything until August / September. Make sure you have everything uploaded, we had everything done and then updated the application monthly with more evidence.

Who knows though you could be pleasantly surprised! I wish you the best of luck

Oh great thanks sammy.lee! That's a great suggestions to keep updating the evidence, I'll get onto it straight away! We uploaded everything including police check and medical.
I'm really hoping we don't have to wait the whole 15 months. I went through the last few pages on this thread and think some people got theirs after 11 months. So here's hoping

We lodged ours on the 14th.
Nothing yet, other than the immediate bridging visa that states it is not in effect until the PMV expires.

One, mkarina, on the PMV to 820 thread, also from Indonesia took 4 months, as shown here:
